I zoomed my widescreen tv with the remote, but now the Digital Cable remote’s zoom will not work?
I have a Sony 42″ Grand Wega™ (3LCD Rear Projection HDTV KDF-E42A10) and I was testing out the remote and the remote for the Cable Box (http://www.cox.com/ –the universal DVR one) and when I used the zoom feature for the TV remote, the “HD Zoom” button on the DVR remote does nothing now (it displays the different zooms, but it doesn’t do the zooming —–and it’s zooms were clearer) –can someone help? There is a zoom and a 4:3 default option –should I put both of them on Normal then try the DVR remote?
Thanks for the input guys, but I recently found the problem. The cable box is plugged into the Video 4 input, so the TV has to be turned to that “channel” for the HD Zoom to work (so actually, I think it was my dad who turned the channel on with the TV remote)
On the universal remote make sure you are in the “TV” mode when you want the picture to change through the TV and in the “CABLE” mode when you want to change the picture through the cable box.
