One thing that sets the LG 42LD450 apart from the previous model is its dimensions. The Flat Lcd screen measures 42 inches wide, making it bigger than ever before. It has a Full Hdtv resolution of 1080p, one of the highest image resolutions that an HDTV can offer.
LG HDTVs use High-Definition Multimedia Interface (HDMI), which allows you to connect all of your digital media to HDTVs. The 42LD450 has two HDMI/HDCP ports on the side and rear of this TV. You can connect your pictures and music to the 42LD450 via USB 2.0 on the side input of this LG HDTV.
The contrast ratio is likewise improved into 100,000:1 which makes the contrast between dark and light more prominent. It also has an ISFccc Calibration that allows easy adjusting of the brightness, color, tint, and sharpness depending on the available lighting. Like the previous model, the LG 42LD450 HDTV still includes the AV Mode which allows the user to set the picture quality in three modes; Cinema, Sport, or Games as well as the Real Cinema technology to allow a full cinematic viewing experience.
The 42LD450 full HD 1080p has wonderful picture quality and several preset modes (sports, game, cinema). It also has a quick 4ms response time, which will decrease the blurring of fast motion giving you sharp quality sports program viewing.
