How to connect use home theater speakers with tv channels?

I have a Blu Ray samsung home theater system, how do I use the speakers with tv channels?

Get an audio cable (red and white on both ends) and hook one end to your audio out on your TV (if it has one), then hook the other end into the audio in on your surround sound. You should then get sound coming from anything hooked up to the TV as well such as TV programming and video games.
